Sitting for sesshin today. Feeling as if I was re-living through one hundred and one of my heartbreaks in this short life. Then, during lunch, I heard O from across the dining hall: 

Once I dated a girl named Princess and her dog was named Kate. 

I burst out laughing, breaking my silence. 

Later when I left the meditation hall, I remembered how much everybody here loves me.  

What's next? I don't know. Not one bit. But I was here on Earth once, and so were you.
